He or she also encourages others to be proud of their temptations and sins. The specific difference is pride. One who is tempted or sins in a homosexual manner and experiences compunction and repugnance is not gay. Given that definition one cannot be a good gay catholic or a good gay priest. Pride is a vice. It changes a tempted person or sinner who should be ashamed into a vicious monster.
