Polish Catholics Say Synod's Final Document "Anti-Catholic" - Mirrors German Synod
A group of Polish Catholics led by Artur Dąbrowski, president of Catholic Action of the Archdiocese of Częstochowa, has issued an open letter criticizing the Synod on Synodality.
The letter expresses concern over both the report of Study Group No. 9 (2026) and the Final Document of the Synod on Synodality (2024).
The authors describe the Synod's Final Document as “deeply anti-Catholic,” arguing that it risks replacing the Church's unchanging Deposit of Faith with an ideology centered on inclusion, consensus, and process.
The Synod adopts elements similar to Germany's Synodal Path, particularly through the relativization of doctrine and the decentralization of authority.
Particular criticism is directed at the description of synodality as a “constitutive dimension” of the Church. The authors argue that this undermines the traditional understanding of the Church as defined by its marks of unity, holiness, catholicity, and apostolicity.

A marching band led a procession through the narrow streets of the town, in the Molise region, about two and a half hours drive from Rome. The band was followed by a religious confraternity in full regalia, as members of the military police’s art-theft unit carried the statue to Monteroduni’s main church.
With a sizable portion of the town’s residents marching happily in tow, children popped balloons and scattered confetti, bells rang joyfully and some older residents wiped away tears of joy.
“Evviva San Michele,” came a cry from the crowd.

L'amour de Dieu nourrit l'âme, pour qu'elle progresse de vertu en vertu, et adoucit les tourments de toutes les tribulations. Rien n'est difficile à celui qui aime. L'amour de Dieu change en douceur toute amertume. Méditation La mission de saint Antoine n'a pas toujours été facile. Il a connu l'opposition, le refus des gens de l'écouter. Dès lors, il aurait pu cultiver en lui l'amertume et le ressentiment. Il trouve dans la prière la force de changer l'amertume en douceur, la force d'aimer. L'amour de Dieu est comme un fleuve qui vient irriguer sa vie, qui la transforme de l'intérieur. A la suite d'Antoine, je fais le point sur mes relations. Celles qui me font du bien, me font grandir humainement et spirituellement. Mais aussi les relations blessées, les communications difficiles, voire les ruptures, dont je peux ne pas toujours avoir bien compris les raisons ... Tout cela peut nourrir en moi l'amertume et le ressentiment. Me voilà …Zaidi
